Privacy Policy


Your Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. When you visit our website or make a reservation, we only collect the information necessary to provide our services and manage your booking.

Information we may collect includes:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

  • Reservation details

  • Payment information (processed securely through our booking provider)

  • Special requests you choose to share with us

We also use cookies and anonymous website analytics to improve your browsing experience and better understand how visitors use our website.


How Your Information Is Used

We use your information to:

  • Process and manage reservations

  • Communicate before, during, and after your stay

  • Respond to enquiries

  • Improve our website and guest experience

We never sell or rent your personal information.


Third-Party Services

To operate our website and reservations, we use trusted third-party providers, including:

  • Squarespace (website hosting)

  • Lodgify (reservation management)

  • Secure payment providers

  • Google (Maps & Analytics)

  • Elfsight (guest reviews)

Each provider only processes information necessary to deliver its respective service.


Booking & Payment

To secure your reservation, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.

The remaining balance is payable in cash upon arrival.

Reservations are confirmed once the required payment has been successfully received.


Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans can sometimes change.

For direct bookings made through Platakia Blu:

  • Cancellations made 42 days or more before arrival receive a 100% refund of all prepaid amounts.

  • Cancellations made within 42 days of arrival are non-refundable.

Reservations made through third-party booking platforms such as Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, or VRBO are subject to the cancellation policy selected during the booking process.


Security Deposit

To help protect both our guests and the property, a €200 security deposit pre-authorization is placed on your payment card one day before arrival.

This is not a charge.

The authorization is automatically released approximately 7 days after departure, provided no damage or additional charges have been incurred.


Check-in & Check-out

Check-in

From 3:00 PM

Self check-in is available via a secure lockbox, allowing you to arrive at your convenience. Detailed check-in instructions and access information will be provided prior to your arrival.

Check-out

By 11:00 AM

If you would like a later departure, late check-out may be available upon request for an additional fee, subject to availability. Please contact us during your stay, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.


During Your Stay

To help ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly ask our guests to observe the following:

  • Children are welcome.

  • Pets are not permitted.

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the apartments.

  • Please respect neighboring guests, especially during evening hours.

  • Guests are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.

  • Only registered guests may stay overnight unless agreed upon in advance.
